We will start the appointment with before photos/videos. Then we will make you as comfortable as possible with a neck pillow, blanket and noise cancelling headphones. We will then do any prep work needed to your teeth/gums. After that we will try on your temporary veneers and make any need aesthetic adjustments as needed.
(not always needed) We will be taking more photos of your temporaries and making and final adjustments to your temporary veneers.
It will be normal to feel some sensitivity with your teeth and tenderness in your gums from any gum contouring and/or adjustments we made. If you are in temporaries please stick to a soft food diet and make sure to wear your night guard every night. We will be giving you a list of acceptable foods at your appointment.
Today you will be getting your new and improved smile. We will remove temporaries if needed and try on your veneers to make sure they fit and look great.
We will then bond the permanent veneers in place and scan them for your new night guard/retainer. You will want to wear this every night to protect from clenching and grinding. Not wearing your night guard will void your warranty on your veneers.
you may leave with some sensitivity from us cleaning up the cement around your gums.
This is our chance to really dial in your bite and make sure your veneers are going to function properly for you. This is extremely important. This will also be the day will take all of your after photos/ videos.
Very important!!!
***At this point, you are in the healing phase, most of the healing will take place with your gums and teeth in the first couple weeks, but they will continue to heal and look healthier and prettier over the next 9 to 12 months.
